1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using tempscript.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to every visitor and to every tool offered on the Site. No additional agreement, registration, or account is required — simply using the Site constitutes your acceptance.

2. What TempScript is

TempScript is a collection of free, browser-based utility tools. Each tool is designed to perform a specific task — such as merging PDFs, compressing images, converting audio, generating passwords, or formatting data — entirely within your web browser.

There is no user account, no signup, no subscription, and no payment of any kind. You can use any tool on the Site without providing personal information.

Because tools run locally in your browser, TempScript does not operate a backend service for storing or processing your files. This has an important consequence: if your browser crashes or you close the tab before downloading a result, that result is lost and cannot be recovered from us.

3. Eligibility

You may use TempScript if you can form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

The Site is designed to be safe for all ages, and it does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Nevertheless, if you are a minor, please make sure a responsible adult is aware that you are using the Site.

4. Acceptable use

You are free to use TempScript for personal, educational, or commercial purposes. However, you must not use the Site or its tools to:

• Break any applicable law, regulation, or court order.
• Infringe the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of another person.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person or group.
• Create, distribute, or store material that is illegal in your jurisdiction, including content that exploits minors.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its hosting infrastructure, or any other user's device.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the Site, including by overloading it with automated requests, scraping it aggressively, or attempting to introduce malicious code.
• Use the Site to send spam, phishing messages, or malware.
• Misrepresent the origin of any content you produce with the tools, including by using them to forge documents, credentials, or financial records.

5. Your content and intellectual property

You retain full ownership of any content you create, paste, or load into a TempScript tool — including documents, images, audio, text, and data.

Because TempScript processes everything locally in your browser, we never receive your content. We therefore cannot claim any licence, ownership, or right to use it. Nothing you paste into a tool becomes ours.

The Site itself

The design, code, branding, and written content of TempScript belong to us or to our licensors. You may view the Site and use its tools as intended. You may not copy, redistribute, or sell the Site's code or branding without permission.

Some tools rely on third-party open-source libraries. Those libraries are used under their respective licences, and any rights in them remain with their authors.

6. Tool limitations

We want you to have accurate expectations. Every tool has limits, and it is important to understand them:

• Results depend on your browser and device. Different browsers support different features. Some tools may not work fully in older browsers, and some operations may be slower on phones.
• File size and memory limits. Because processing happens in memory, very large files or batches may be slow or may fail. Each tool's page states its practical limits.
• Output quality depends on the source. Re-encoding an image or audio file may reduce quality if the source was already compressed. Some tools show a preview so you can judge the result before downloading.
• No cloud storage or backup. TempScript does not store your files. If you close the tab without downloading the result, that result is lost.
• No guarantee of completion. A tool may fail to complete if your browser runs out of memory, if the file is malformed, or if your device is interrupted.

7. No warranty

TempScript and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including:

• That the Site will be available without interruption or error.
• That any tool will work for a particular purpose or produce a particular result.
• That the results will be accurate, complete, or free from defects.
• That any file will be preserved or recoverable after processing.
• That the Site is free from viruses or other harmful components introduced by third parties.

You use the Site entirely at your own risk. If a tool fails or produces an unexpected result, your only remedy is to stop using it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TempScript and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site.

This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, business interruption, or any other commercial or personal loss, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where local law does not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain liabilities, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.

Because TempScript is free and does not charge for any service, you agree that the total liability of TempScript and its operators, in any case, shall not exceed the amount you have paid us — which is zero.

9. Third-party services and links

The Site loads fonts, icons, and some JavaScript libraries from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs). Those third parties receive standard technical information as part of serving the files, and their own privacy policies and terms may apply to those requests.

Some tools rely on third-party open-source projects. Those projects are used under their own licences, and we make no claim of ownership over them.

The Site may contain links to external websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Visiting an external link is at your own risk.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the tools we offer, in the law, or in the way we operate the Site. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

If a change is significant, we will also post a short notice on the homepage for a reasonable period. Continued use of the Site after any change means you accept the updated Terms.

Because TempScript has no user accounts, we cannot notify you by email. Checking this page occasionally is the best way to stay informed.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time. Because there is no account, no cancellation is required — simply close the tab and, if you wish, clear any local data your browser has stored.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the Site, or to remove any tool, at any time and for any reason. We may also take steps to prevent abuse, such as blocking automated traffic that harms the Site's availability for other users.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which TempScript is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country of residence.

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms will stay in full force.
